  This is my church home! Pastor Maurice Wright II enjoys Preaching and Teaching the Word of God! We are a Bible based church first. Pastor and his family are wonderful servants of God. STJOHNAME offers a variety of ministry activities for adults and kids, and houses a warm and welcoming congregation. Please come by to visit with us!

  We love people and our driven to serve the needs of our community. Our Soup Kitchen offering hot and cold meals (alternating) is open to the public on the 3rd and 4th Tuesday of each month between 11am - 1:30pm. Our Worship Services are Sundays at 8am and 10:50am, on 5th Sundays - 10am only. Bible Studies are each Wednesday at 12Noon and 6:00pm. Come see us and let us love on you.

  Rev. Patrick D. Clayborn, Ph.D. (Pastor) and his wife Rev. Sheri Smith Clayborn are some of the most genuine 'people loving' leaders I have encountered in a while. Not only do they have Seminary / Theological training and gifts, they have the true spirit of Jesus' to reach out and have a positive impact with whom they come in contact with.
  
  It was for this reason, I was compelled to volunteer and serve on several ministries and work at the Church.
  
  The Church also has a rich history and heritage. The former Pastor, Rev. Homer L. McCall and the former First Lady Mrs. Mable McCall are staples in traditional AME circles.
  
  If you need a good inspirational and encouraging bible-based word given in a compassionate environment. This is it. The praise and worship is also awesome!
